Do Rushgreen Bowmen run beginners courses?
Yes, We run courses almost continuously. The courses last for 4 weeks with
each lesson lasting about 2 hours. The cost of the course is £25.Please

Rushgreen Bowmen are based at the Bramston sports Centre in Witham Essex.

Do I need any equipment to attend a beginners course?
No, all equipment is supplied for the duration of the course.

What ages can attend beginners courses?
We accept any age from 10 years upwards. Children under 18 must be
accompanied by parent or guardian. If however a family attend a course
we may allow younger children to participate at our discretion.

Where can I buy archery equipment?
There are a number of good sites on the web for archery suppliers and the
links can be found on the
GNAS website. Our local supplier is
Perris Archery who have an online shop.

When do Rushgreen Bowmen shoot?
We shoot every Friday evening, in the Gym from 8pm until 10pm in the winter
and on the Bramston school field from 7pm until dark in the summer. We also shoot
on Sunday afternoons from 1pm until 3pm all year on the Bramston School field.

Do Rushgreen Bowmen run any tournaments?
We do not currently run any open tournaments.

Can I just turn up and have a go?
Not really but you may be lucky. If we have time and you turn up enquiring about
courses etc you might get a go!
